A creative storyteller and award-winning director, Fred ‘Focus’ Lavergne captures powerful documentary-style content that brings a heightened awareness to cultural diversity. Lavergne has directed several films, commercials and videos for leading entertainment, consumer goods and travel brands through his creative agency, Spacedog Inc.
He is a sought-after visionary director among award-winning and up-and-coming music artists including Dave East, LeCrae and Lil TJay. Lavergne received industry recognition from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for his creative direction of Flipp Dinero’s ‘Leave Me Alone’ video, where he was awarded with platinum and gold plaques.
This approach resonates with music artists as Lavergne builds the artist’s brand embracing the ethos of Uptown as well as mainstream brands that are looking to push the boundaries. When not on set, Lavergne gives back to his community by inspiring the youth through hip hop therapy at public schools.
